After years working in intensive care and later supporting thousands of mothers through sher health and fitness program, she saw first-hand the gaps in maternal care. Mari-Carmen founded Matresa to build preventative maternal health infrastructure that supports mothers earlier, more consistently, and in ways traditional systems cannot.

After a career in investment banking with institutions including Chase Manhattan Bank, Credit Suisse and ICAP, she founded and exited a global recruitment firm. Known as a natural connector, Beverley brings together people, partnerships and opportunities to support founders and organisations in unlocking their potential.

With experience working across healthcare systems, research environments and health technology, he focuses on translating clinical insight into scalable solutions that improve patient outcomes. At Matresa, Ameet supports clinical partnerships and research initiatives to ensure the platform is grounded in robust evidence and aligned with healthcare systems.
Research Director & Consultant 
Specialist in clinical governance, regulation and healthcare compliance. With experience supporting digital health innovation within regulated healthcare environments, she focuses on ensuring new technologies meet robust governance, safety and regulatory standards. At Matresa, Liba supports clinical governance and regulatory strategy, helping ensure the platform is developed in line with healthcare frameworks and best practice.

Clinical Psychologist specialising in Pre- and Postnatal mental health, with a PhD in maternal health. Her work focuses on understanding and supporting the psychological wellbeing of mothers across pregnancy and early motherhood. At Matresa, Agnera provides clinical insight and research expertise to ensure maternal mental health is embedded within the platform’s evidence-based approach to supporting mothers and babies.
Clinical Psychologist
Technology leader specialising in healthtech infrastructure and the integration of digital platforms within complex systems. With extensive experience delivering large-scale software solutions. Martin focuses on building secure, interoperable technologies that connect health products with healthcare providers, enterprise platforms and existing clinical systems. At Matresa, Martin supports the development of scalable architecture designed to integrate seamlessly across healthcare and corporate ecosystems.

Senior health sector leader and Non-Executive Director with extensive experience in healthcare transformation and digital health innovation. Having held leadership roles at PwC he has worked with healthcare organisations globally to implement technology-enabled change across complex health systems.
