Impact and ESG

Good for your organisation.
Good for mothers who need it most.

Maternal health outcomes are not equal. Continuous, clinically grounded support during pregnancy and the postnatal period is still out of reach for millions of women. This is not because the support does not exist. It is because no one has built the infrastructure to deliver it fairly to everyone who needs it.

Our impact

Why we exist

At Matresa, we exist to support women through one of the most important and least supported stages of life, including pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and the return to work. We believe that better maternal support leads to stronger families, healthier workplaces, and a more resilient economy.

Supporting maternal health

Matresa provides continuous, structured support to women across their maternal journey. By bringing health, wellbeing, and recovery together in one platform, we help women feel informed, supported, and confident during pregnancy and beyond. Our approach focuses on early intervention and preventative care, which helps reduce the risk of complications and improve overall wellbeing.

Improving workplace outcomes

We work with employers to close the gap between maternity leave and the return to work. By supporting employees during and after pregnancy, we help organisations to improve retention, reduce absenteeism, and support smoother transitions back into work. This creates more inclusive and supportive working environments, and it reduces the hidden costs that come with losing experienced people.

  • Improve the retention of experienced staff
  • Reduce absenteeism
  • Support smoother transitions back into the workplace

Driving social impact

Matresa contributes to greater gender equality at work by helping women to stay in their careers and progress after having children. Our platform helps address the challenges of the motherhood penalty, so that women can return to work with confidence and continuity.

Our access model

For every seat you fund, we fund one for a mother who needs it.

Maternal health infrastructure should not be a privilege of the employed. Every Matresa enterprise engagement directly funds access for mothers reached through UK community maternal and family centres, a 1:1 matched-access pledge built into our commercial model rather than added on as a campaign. It is social value your organisation can evidence in its own procurement, ESG, and community-investment reporting.

The Matched-Access Pledge

1:1

One seat funded = one seat donated

Every licensed seat in your engagement is matched by an equivalent seat made available, at no cost, to a mother reached through one of our UK community maternal and family centre partners. Priority is given to mothers with limited existing access to structured perinatal support.

Audited. Reported annually. Verifiable for your social value returns.

Our commitment

As a growing business, we are committed to measuring and improving our impact over time, to maintaining high standards of data privacy and user trust, and to embedding responsible and ethical practices into everything we do. We are building a platform that is designed not only to support individuals, but to create lasting and positive change across society and the workplace.
